Castle Leisure is the name behind Castle Bingo online, and is a privately owned company that has been operating since the mid-19th century. It’s known for operating a number of leisure ventures over the years and has now made a name for itself due to a chain of bingo halls that it operates up and down the country. The Castle Bingo Chain has eight bingo halls in South Wales and three others located in England. And is renowned for building the first ever purpose built bingo hall in the UK. Castle’s online presence was launched in 2006, initially with the St Minver bingo network.

The minimum deposit required to play at Castle Bingo is just £5. And unlike many other online bingo sites this will actually allow you to claim an introductory offer. You have 7 days from your first registration to make the qualifying deposit and also meet the wagering requirement to receive the new player bonus. The bonus is automatically issued as soon as you’ve made the minimum deposit of £5 and staked a minimum of £5 on bingo. It can be spent in any rooms that allow bonus stakes. If you want to withdraw any of your winnings from the bonus you’ll have to wager at least three times the bonus amount. What other bonuses are available?
- Second Deposit Bonus – A 100% slots bonus is what awaits for your second deposit of at least £10 at Castle Bingo and is subject to wagering requirements of thirty times
- Birthday Bonus – A £5 Bingo bonus once every year on your birthday, that can be spent in any bingo room allowing stakes and has a three times wagering requirement
- £1M Slots Prize Draw – Running from the 30th January until 26th February, with free entry being awarded for every £10 cash staked
This is possibly not as many promotions as we would have expected but nevertheless the welcome bonus is certainly worth a try. Terms and conditions apply to all these bonuses and promotions. Spend time reading them and make sure you understand what’s involved before registering.
Bingo games at Castle Bingo take place across a range of rooms
There are a wide selection of bingo games to participate in across a number of different rooms. 90 ball and 75 ball bingo are bound to be the favourites but there’s also 80 ball as well. There’s a new member suite for newcomers as well as a Royal Suite for loyal players. In all of the bingo rooms there are plenty of opportunities to win some fabulous cash prizes as well as guaranteed jackpots up for grabs. If you ever need a break from bingo and are worried whether Castle Bingo will be able to keep you entertained then don’t be. As well as heaps of bingo there are also slots and instant games to help you pass the time. It’s becoming increasingly important for online bingo sites to offer mobile games and Castle Bingo have taken this on board with their mobile-friendly site. There’s no Castle Bingo app to download. Instead, simply type www.castlebingo.com into your mobile browser.
Banking options at Castle Bingo
The minimum deposit amount is £5 at Castle Bingo, while the minimum withdrawal amount is £10. Payments can be made using a variety of methods including credit and debit cards such as Visa and MasterCard, PayPal and Paysafecard. Certain terms and conditions apply to making payments, but more apply in respect of withdrawals. For example, you will have to verify your ID before any withdrawals can be processed.
Castle Bingo customer support can only be contacted by email
We were expecting a little more from Castle Bingo. With its range of land-based bingo halls we thought their customers would have been top priority for the online platform too. If you have any problems, or questions for which you need an answer there is a very sparse FAQs section and customer support can only be contacted by email. What did we think of Castle Bingo? Not a lot really, as there are plenty more online bingo sites that are far more entertaining and fun to play at. The minimum deposit of £5 is certainly reasonable enough to allow you to try the site first before investing large amounts of cash. But to be honest, we’d rather use the £5 and play somewhere else instead. At the end of the day, the choice is yours of course. And even if you deposit the minimum and decide you don’t like it then you’ve only lost the price of a coffee or a pint down at the pub.
