Christmas is fast approaching, and if you’re in the Southampton area and a bingo player, then you are in for a treat, thanks to the return of Bongo’s Bingo and its riotous Christmas Cracker events. If your idea of festive fun leans more towards foil hats and flashing lights than quiet carols, then this might be the ultimate party night you need, so you can celebrate and play your favourite game outside bingo sites.
The bingo Christmas Cracker events are coming to Circuit on November 20 and 29, and will then return on December 6, 11, 13 and 20. Doors open at 4:30pm, with the first bingo game kicking off at 6:30pm.
Bongo’s Bingo has built a reputation across the UK for blending traditional bingo with dance-offs, novelty prizes and full-on rave sessions. This December, Southampton’s players can expect a nostalgic twist, with a soundtrack of Christmas classics, dodgy Santas, cracker hats and plenty of tongue-in-cheek fun. The organisers describe it as stepping back into your gran’s living room, if that living room also happened to be filled with hundreds of people chanting, dancing and shouting at strangers.
Celebrating the Festive Season
Co-founder Jonny Bongo has called the festive season his favourite time of the year, promising “all out bingo-infused chaos” as 2025 comes to a close. For anyone bored with traditional Christmas celebrations, this show is just what you need to get into the festive spirit.
Whether you’re gathering friends for a big night out or just curious to see what happens when bingo meets a Christmas rave, Bongo’s Bingo Southampton looks set to be one of the city’s liveliest festive celebrations. Impressively, tickets cost just £16.
Don’t worry if you’re not in Southampton, the bingo Christmas Cracker events are coming to plenty of other venues across the UK:
