Listen to this article:Those in the Penarth area can look forward to a dazzling night out as there will be Cabaret Bingo at the Penarth Pier Pavilion on November 14. It promises to be an evening of laughter, glitz, and games, blending traditional bingo with the entertainment of live cabaret.
Cabaret Bingo will be hosted by drag performer Venus Flytrap, and it will feature two lively rounds of bingo interspersed with burlesque, circus, drag, and musical performances. To add a bit of unpredictability to the evening, the winners of each line will take control of the show, choosing the order in which the acts perform.
The event is being organised by Quill & Pearl Presents and Del Fflur Productions, two Penarth-based creative teams. Excited about the upcoming bingo event, co-producer Kit Lambert explained,
“As the evenings are drawing in, we could all do with some extra glamour and laughter in our lives. Penarth is a brilliant town, but there aren’t lots of entertainment options for a night out, so we wanted to create a fun, welcoming experience that can be enjoyed by adults, young and old.”
Performers on the night will include Lili Del Fflur, a Cardiff Life Awards finalist, alongside Oola Pearl, It’s Llywellyn, and several special guests from the Welsh cabaret scene. With fantastic prizes up for grabs and plenty of surprises throughout the evening, it is an evening not to be missed.
You can join the Cabaret Bingo at Penarth Pier Pavilion, The Esplanade, Penarth CF64 3AU, on Thursday, November 14, with doors and bar opening at 6:30pm and the show starting at 7:30pm. The event is strictly 18+, and seating is unreserved.
