The personality, whose real name is John Fisher, has revealed plans for a nationwide tour of Bosh Bingo events, which will visit 12 cities across the UK next year.
As part of the announcement, happy about the upcoming bingo events, Fisher launched a dedicated page, and he said that the aim is to deliver a version of bingo built on Big John’s humour and energy. The accompanying poster even includes nods to well-loved icons such as Mr Blobby, Shrek, and a range of takeaway favourites.
The tour will begin on 20 February 2026 in Newcastle before moving through Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol, Brighton, and finally London on 28 March. Each stop will feature a mixture of games, upbeat intervals, on-stage competitions, and what Big John describes as “crazy prizes” with the occasional food-themed callback included for laughs.
It is clear that these events will not resemble a traditional bingo hall experience. They promise to be high-energy evenings featuring loud music, shared seating, and an approach that blends comedy with audience participation. You can expect plenty of strobe lighting and club-style production.
However, while the atmosphere is expected to be lively, the evenings will remain rooted in bingo. Of course, it’s bingo with a Big John twist, and players who achieve a full house are encouraged to shout “Bosh” rather than the usual call.
