Listen to this article:Fans of ITVās The Chase who live in Essex are in for a treat this summer, with Mark Labbett hosting in Colchester as part of Buzz Bingo’s Beat the Beast tour. Best known to many viewers as “The Beast” from The Chase, Labbett will be making an appearance at the bingo club for a special evening that brings together bingo, quizzing, and the chance to meet one of the UKās most recognisable TV quiz stars.
One of the most exciting bingo events this year will take place on Saturday, 13 June 2026, and it is part of Buzz Bingoās nationwide Beat the Beast tour, which is giving local players and quiz fans the chance to test themselves against Mark Labbett in their own club.
The Beat the Beast event is more than just a quiz. Mark Labbett will host the live quiz session, and the top three contestants will then go on to face him directly for the chance to win a cash prize. The format will feel familiar to those who regularly watch The Chase, and it is sure to be a truly memorable experience.
There is, of course, also a bingo element to the evening, with Mark due to call a page himself during the session. Fans will also have the chance to meet him during the event, and up to 1,000 people are expected to take part, so it should be a really exciting night.
Tickets are currently on sale, and you can get Early Bird tickets for just Ā£11 while they last. If the Early Bird tickets are sold out, then you may still be able to buy a General Release ticket for Ā£22.
