Known as one of the top online bingo sites in the UK as well as a favourite for in-club experiences, Club 3000 Bingo provided the perfect backdrop for Helen’s day of fun.
The former Coronation Street star, 34, was dressed to impress in a glamorous pink satin maxi dress paired with an eye-catching knitted cardigan and towering heels. Despite her high-fashion appearance, Helen rolled up her sleeves, literally, to serve pints, scrub tables, mop the floors, and even take a turn at calling the bingo numbers.
Fans at the bingo hall were thrilled to see Helen embrace every aspect of bingo life with a smile on her face. At one point, she was seen wearing a hair net over her famous long blonde hair to help with the cleaning duties. The TV personality was in good spirits as she enthusiastically worked alongside staff and interacted with the regulars.
For many there, the highlight of the evening was when Helen took the stage to call out the winning bingo numbers. She delivered the draws with confidence and a touch of theatrical flair and was clearly enjoying her moment as the evening’s guest bingo caller.
The unexpected career change may have been just for a day, but Helen’s willingness to get stuck in made a big impression on locals and fans alike. Flanagan appearance at the bingo hall showed a more down-to-earth side of the actress, who’s best known for her long-running role as Rosie Webster on the ITV soap.
The bingo hall outing followed Helen’s appearance on The Vanessa Show just the day before, where she opened up about the current status of her relationship with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair. The pair, who split in 2022 after thirteen years together and four years engaged, have three children: Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three.
While Helen had previously said that she and Scott “don’t like each other at all”, she walked back those comments on air, saying:
“I think they probably caught me on a bad day. Me and Scott, actually, we’re getting on fine. It was my little boy’s birthday party, and we both did that together.”
She added that reaching a peaceful mindset has been crucial for her mental health.
Helen is now dating Robbie Talbot, 45, and she spoke about how she’s been navigating the transition with her children in mind.
“I was very aware of how my daughter is a Daddy’s girl and I think it’s a matter of respect as well cos I know that with Scott as well, I just say to my kids they have one mummy and one daddy, and you know mummy’s boyfriend is just a friend and I hope that my ex would do the same. Because I couldn’t bear it if my kids ever called someone else mummy or something like that, I would die. I think it’s about having an equal amount of respect.”
Speaking more openly about co-parenting, Helen recently admitted on Charlotte Dawson’s Naughty Corner podcast that things haven’t always been easy. However, she said that she still loves her ex very much and still cares about him deeply, even if they “don’t like each other”.
Now, two years into single motherhood, Helen has begun to find humour in the reality of co-parenting. She described co-parenting as “hilarious” and said the two try to avoid arguing in front of the children.
While the situation is clearly far from easy, for one night in Blackpool, it was all about laughter, daubers, and lucky bingo numbers as Helen Flanagan brought some celebrity sparkle to the local bingo scene.
