Listen to this article:A woman in Blackpool is celebrating after winning the £50,000 National Bingo Game jackpot while playing at the Club 3000 Bingo venue in Blackpool.
The winner was a 62-year-old local woman who is a relative newcomer to bingo. She was playing at the club on a Friday night with her daughter when she won the life-changing prize. Making the win even more incredible is the fact that it was just her fifth visit to the bingo club.
While the woman has chosen to remain anonymous, following the win, she said:
“My daughter pointed out that I’d won the big prize and that I had called on 16 numbers. I’m absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to start planning how I’ll spend the money. Everyone at the club has made me feel so welcome – it’s such a fantastic night out, and the chance to win big makes it even better.”
Her win was celebrated by the house manager, Mike Travis:
“We were all so excited to celebrate the win alongside our lucky customer. The atmosphere in the club was electric—everyone was cheering! Nights like this are what make bingo truly special, bringing the whole community together to celebrate.”
Club 3000 Bingo in Blackpool only opened its doors in July 2023, but this is the second time that the National Bingo Game jackpot has been won there. The first win occurred on 2 January 2024 and the prize was won by a 58-year-old woman from Fleetwood who said that she was “overjoyed and shocked” to discover she had won the prize.
The venue has quickly become a hotspot for exciting moments and celebrity appearances, most notably when Helen Flanagan pulled pints and called numbers at Club 3000, bringing a buzz of glamour and fun to the bingo floor.

“We were all so excited to celebrate the win alongside our winner. The atmosphere in the club was electric, everyone was so happy, we can’t wait for the party where they will officially receive the presentation cheque for £50,000! It is even more special as it is the first time that the Blackpool club has won the National Bingo Big Prize, since we opened in July last year. We absolutely love being part of the community in Blackpool.”
The club is open every day from 11 am until late and players can take part in the National Bingo Game twice a day, in the afternoon and evening sessions. However, there are also morning sessions during which there are further chances to win large full house prizes.
