Panda Bingo, UK Bingo and Chit Chat Bingo have completed their move to the Progress Play platform, which means players at the three sites have major changes to contend with.
The three brands previously operated on the Grace Gaming platform but migrated to Progress Play on 28 July. The switch means that they now have access to the Playtech Bingo Network, so players will find a different selection of rooms and games when they log in to the relaunched sites.
Importantly, existing players cannot simply log in using their old account details. Everyone who played at any of the three sites before the migration needs to register a new account, and each brand has launched a new welcome offer that returning players can also claim.
The most important immediate change for players is the need to create a new account. According to the information released about the migration, players’ data could not be transferred because the Progress Play sites are operating under a different UK Gambling Commission licence from the previous Grace Gaming platform.
This means that the old accounts have not been carried across. This includes account details, previous balances and bonus histories, so even long-term players need to register again before they can play.
While this does mean that players have a little extra work, there is one obvious benefit. The three brands have effectively relaunched with a clean slate, meaning previous customers are eligible for the new-player welcome bonuses available on the Progress Play versions of the sites.
Each of the relaunched sites has introduced a different welcome bonus.
Panda Bingo is offering a £40 Bingo Bonus following a minimum £10 deposit. The bonus has a 4x wagering requirement on selected games and needs to be used within 30 days. Of the three offers, Panda Bingo has the lowest wagering requirement.
At UK Bingo, new and returning players registering on the new platform can receive a 100% Games Bonus worth up to £50. A minimum £10 deposit is required, and the bonus has 10x wagering on selected bingo and mini games.
Chit Chat Bingo has gone for the largest percentage match, offering a 200% Games Bonus worth up to £40. That means a £20 deposit is enough to receive the maximum £40 bonus. Again, the wagering requirement is 10x on selected bingo and mini games.
At all three sites, real-money balances are used before bonus funds, the bonuses and any resulting winnings are valid for 30 days, and the maximum conversion is limited to the value of the original bonus. Furthermore, Skrill and NETELLER deposits are also excluded.
The other major change is what players will find at the sites. Progress Play uses a Playtech-powered platform and connects the three brands to the Playtech Bingo Network. That means the three sites no longer offer the rooms and games supplied through Grace Gaming and now share bingo content with other sites on the Playtech network.
The three brands themselves have not changed. This means that, for instance, Panda Bingo players can still use Panda Bingo rather than moving to an entirely different site. However, the technology behind each brand has changed considerably.
The three brands have all been established names in the UK online bingo market for some time and are widely considered leading sites. Therefore, the move represents quite a substantial change for existing players.
There is the inconvenience of needing to create a new account, particularly for anyone who has been using the same login for years. However, returning players do at least have the chance to claim a new welcome offer, while the move to the Progress Play platform means there is plenty of new bingo content to explore.
The most important thing for former players to remember is that their old account will not provide access to the relaunched site. If you want to continue playing at Panda Bingo, UK Bingo or Chit Chat Bingo, you will need to register again before getting started on the new Progress Play platform.
