An Online Bingo Site With a Land-Based Presence – Read our Palaces Live Review
The Palaces Live Bingo site is another site released by Palatial Leisure Limited. Unfortunately, this makes it really rather unremarkable as all sites owned and operated by this provider are almost identical. Nevertheless, that doesn’t make it any the less worthy of us writing a review. So keep reading and we’ll explain the different features.
Palaces Live and the regulations
Palaces Live is an online bingo site owned and operated by Palatial. As well as this and a number of other online gaming sites it also owns bingo clubs, casino and adult gaming centres across the UK, along with a cinema and ten pin bowling centres. A true master in the world of adult entertainment. Palatial Leisure is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and authorised to offer remote bingo and casino services as well as non-remote bingo and gaming services, adult gaming centres and general betting standard.
Palaces Live offers new players a 100% bonus match as well as a £150 bonus
Sign up for an account at Palaces Live Bingo and your first deposit will be matched with a 100% bonus, up to a maximum of £100. Say, for example, you deposit up to £100. You’ll receive a bonus of the same value. The bonus can be used to play bingo games and not on any other game type. The bonus itself cannot be withdrawn but you can withdraw any winnings you make from the bonus. Wagering requirements apply to this welcome bonus and are two times the bonus value on bonus games.
In addition to the 100% welcome bonus you can also receive a New Player £150 bonus. This bonus isn’t paid out all at once, but in 30 individual daily £5 instalments. The first of which is paid when you receive the first deposit bonus. When you’ve met the wagering requirements of the first deposit bonus your next wagers count towards the wagering requirements for the £5 bonus. And these are £10 in cash or winnings. After which the next £5 bonus will be paid on the following day. Sounds a little complicated, but is actually a great way to keep players interested and paying to play games.
Palaces Live Bingo doesn’t have as many ongoing promotions and bonuses as many other bingo sites. But it does have an ongoing 15% bonus deposit bonus. After your first deposit you’ll receive 15% on all subsequent deposits, but it will be limited to a maximum of £100 per deposit. From time to time there are additional bonuses and promotions. But at the time of writing this review there were no more available.
The bingo games available to play at Palaces Live are not immediately apparent
This is one aspect of the Palatial Leisure sites we don’t really like or approve off. If an online bingo site wants to attract new customers it should be open and transparent about everything. And that includes the selection of bingo games available. To find out this information at the Palaces Live Bingo site you have to open an account. Which we think is counter-productive. After all, who would want to open an account without knowing all the details. We know there are three Scoop games you can play every day. But apart from that there is very little information. Tickets for the Golden, Silver and Bronze Scoop games are 25p. And the prizes are up to £5,000 if bingo is called on 43 numbers or less.
As well as playing bingo you can also choose from a range of different casino and live casino games. These can be accessed without opening an account. There’s a selection of slots, table games, video poker and other games.
It’s possible to play at Palaces Live Bingo using a mobile device. There’s no Palaces Live Bingo mobile app to worry about downloading. The main site is very mobile responsive and can be accessed by typing www.palaceslive.com into your mobile browser.
Banking options at Palaces Live Bingo
The options for funding your account are far more limited than any other online bingo site. Most major credit cards are accepted including Visa and Mastercard. It’s also possible to make cash deposits and withdrawals at any of the Palatial Leisure Limited land-based clubs. The terms and conditions are not very clear about whether there are any limitations as to how much you can deposit or withdraw. So you’d need to clarify this with customer support before making a payment yourself.
Customer support at Palaces Live can be contacted by email, telephone or instant chat
There is a live help button on the website you can click on, but it’s not a 24/7 service. There is also the option to send an email as well as make a telephone call, between 11am and 11pm. Also available is a deposit hotline and a 24 hour emergency line.
We weren’t overly impressed by Palaces Live Bingo. But if you’re a fan of one of Palatial’s land-based sites we can see you might be interested in trying its online operation. Apart from loyalty to the brand we can’t really think of any features that would make you choose Palaces Live over any other online bingo site. There are simply hundreds to choose from and it’s easy to find one that offers so much more and is more than happy to provide potential players with all the necessary details.
