Earlier this month, Club 3000 Bingo had a grand opening for their latest venue in Blackpool, and to mark the occasion, two of Coronation Street’s biggest stars joined 800 guests for an evening of entertainment. If you are a seasoned player and spend most of your free time playing on online bingo sites, then you surely have not missed this event.

Joe Duttine and Sally Carman-Duttine, known to viewers as Tim Metcalfe and Abi Franklin in the popular soap opera, were at the Festival Leisure Park for the sold-out celebration. Attendees were able to enjoy an evening that featured magic, the entertainer Craig Harper, and a number of bingo games with accompanying champagne.

The New Club Is А Massive £5 Million Investment

Club 3000 Bingo has spent £5 million on the new venue, its twenty-fourth bingo club, giving it an innovative design and layout.

Speaking about the opening, Brian Fraser, the owner of Club 3000 Bingo, said:

“We were thrilled to launch our newest club here at Blackpool; the club demonstrates how we lead the way as a modern-day bingo operator. We welcome all our new customers to the Club 3000 family. It was fantastic to see so many customers celebrating with us on the night.”

The club has been built on the site of the former Swift Hound Pub, which was demolished in 2020. The intention was to open the club much sooner, but there were delays due to planning permission and the COVID pandemic. The development is planned to start after the end of the COVID restrictions.

There are further developments planned for Festival Park, including a drive-thru coffee shop, and planning permission has been granted to convert the site’s Odeon Cinema into a trampoline park, indoor golf course, or bowling alley.

Speaking at the opening, Sean Connolly, the General Manager, said:

“The opening was a fabulous evening the atmosphere was fantastic, I was delighted to see so many customers at the event and would like to thank them for their support and my team, who made it all happen on the night! This is a great community, and we can’t wait to welcome in even more customers in the coming weeks.”

Daily Opportunities to Win Big Prizes

The new club opens daily at 11 am, with the first session beginning at 11:45 am. Each afternoon, there will be the chance to win £50,000 in the National Bingo Game, as well as prizes from a number of other games.

Visitors will enjoy hot and cold food with daily specials starting from just £3.90. The venue’s bar and slot machines will stay open late each evening, allowing visitors to keep playing once the day’s bingo sessions are over.
