Club 3000 Bingo Doncaster Celebrates £50k Jackpot Winner

Club 3000 Bingo Doncaster jackpot win

Earlier this month, a lucky player won at Club 3000 Bingo in Doncaster an incredible jackpot worth £50,000. The player, who has chosen to remain anonymous, was out playing with her friends on the evening of Friday, August 4, when she hit the National Bingo Game’s top prize.

The club, which is based in East Laith Gate, was only taken over by Club 3000 Bingo earlier this year, and it seems the change of ownership has brought with it a change of fortunes. It was the first time that the club had won the National Bingo Game Jackpot Prize in more than three decades of participating in the games.

All that is known about the winner is that she is 59 years old, has been visiting the club for many years, and will usually play there twice a week, although she also enjoys playing on online bingo sites from time to time.

After the win was announced, Club 3000 Doncaster Manager Donna Elkin said:

“We were all so excited to celebrate the win alongside our winner. The atmosphere in the club was electric, everyone was so happy for her, we can’t wait for the party where she will officially receive her presentation cheque for £50,000! It is especially special as it is the first time that the club has won the National Bingo Big Prize, we have loved being part of the community in Doncaster since the club became Club 3000 Bingo back in April this year.”

Club 3000 Invests in Club Takeover

Club 3000 Bingo confirmed the takeover of the venue back in March. Previously, it was operated by Mecca Bingo, and it was facing closure due to the cost of living crisis. The rebranded venue opened its doors on 5 April 2023, and it is understood that the operator has already spent more than £750,000 on the club.

When the takeover was announced, a spokesperson for Club 3000 Bingo said:

“Club 3000 Bingo can confirm it has bought the Mecca bingo club in Doncaster and will be opening their doors to customers as Club 3000 Bingo on 5 April 2023. The operator is delighted to bring the Club 3000 brand to Doncaster as they have been looking for an opportunity in the area for a while and look forward to working with all the staff and welcoming new and old customers through the door.”

The takeover came as a huge relief to bingo fans in the area who had started petitions and campaigns in the press to save Doncaster’s Mecca Bingo club. At the time, the club was described by a player as a “hub” for the community and, in particular, the elderly. The player added, “It is somewhere to meet, feel safe and enjoy a game of bingo, giving them an afternoon or evening out. It’s going to be such a massive loss to us all, and a lot of staff who have become friends now losing their jobs.”

Club 3000 Celebrates More National Bingo Game Wins

In the past few days, Club 3000 Bingo has announced yet another winner of the National Bingo Game Jackpot, this time at their club in Greenock. There have been four wins at the club over the last few years, making it the luckiest club in Scotland.

The winner is reportedly a regular at the club who has been playing there for more than 25 years. Gerry Chisholm, the club’s manager, said:

“I am in shock! This is our fourth big jackpot win over the last couple of years and the third since I have been here. If you are feeling lucky Club 3000 Bingo Greenock is really the place to come. We are absolutely delighted for the winner and how we can change people’s lives with such huge prizes. The atmosphere in the club was amazing, and we look forward to the cheque presentation very soon.”

Join the Action Online

While it may not be possible to join the National Bingo Game online, the Club 3000 online bingo site offers plenty of chances to win. Bingo games take place round the clock in a variety of themed rooms. They offer 30, 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo, so there is something for every type of player. Furthermore, there is a huge collection of jackpot slots, many of which offer life-changing prizes.
