Being treated like a superstar is the order of the day at this newly launched site. And if the popularity of the TV programme is anything to go by, this online bingo spinoff is going to be a success. Lovers of the TV programme are obviously going to be very taken with this online bingo site. But is there enough on offer to attract a new audience? Read our review and you may find the answer.
X Factor Games and the regulations
The X Factor Games site has come about as a result of a collaboration with FreemantleMedia and Simco which gives the Bear Group exclusive rights to the popular branding. The site was launched by the group, the pay to play subsidiary of Gaming Realms, last year in 2016. Bear Group Limited is registered in Alderney and is licensed and regulated by the Alderney Gambling Commission. Services for customers in Great Britain however, are licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (Ref. 39147). The X Factor Games website is operated on a white label basis on behalf of FreemantleMedia and Simco.

The free spins can only be played on certain games, which are mentioned in the terms and conditions. And the free spins must be played within 7 days of receiving them/ any winnings made will be credited to your account as bonus funds, and will be subject to a 60 times wagering requirement. This isn’t the only promotion you can take advantage of.
Your first deposit will also entitle you to a bonus and your free spins will be the perfect opportunity to help you decide whether you want to take the X Factor Games experience any further. Deposit at least £10 and you’ll get £30 to play with. The maximum bonus you can receive is £20. This first deposit bonus is also subject to wagering requirements. And in this case they are 80 times on slots, 60 times on slingo and 8 times on boom.
There are no actual details of any other promotions but the website states there are regular promotions such as tournaments, reload bonuses, giveaways and much more. It’s shame the operators chose not to mention any specifics. For us, it’s always a little suspicious that an operator has decided to omit specifics and gone with generalisations.
There’s a lot of gaming activity at X Factor Games
There’s plenty to do at X Factor Games especially if you enjoy slots. There are more than 200 to choose from including some brand new titles such as Candy Cash, Family Guy which is inspired by the TV show and Guns N’Roses. There are also a good number of casino games for those who enjoy playing the tables. You can play Blackjack or Texas Hold’Em. When you play Blackjack you can choose to get an insurance bet if the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace. take the offer and half your original stake will be returned if the dealer wins.
For many new players the highlight of the X Factor Games experience will be the Slingo Games, many of which have some very attractive jackpots up for grabs. If you’re not sure what Slingo is, it’s a combination of bingo and slots.
The full range of games can be enjoyed using a smartphone or tablet. There’s no X Factor Games app you need to worry about downloading, because the site is fully-optimised for mobile use. Just type www.thexfactorgames.com into your mobile browser and as long as you’ve got an internet connection you can enjoy the full range of games.
Banking options at X Factor Games
The options for making payments are still a little limited, but this is a site that’s still very much in its infancy. More payment methods may be added but at present you can only use credit or debit cards or pay by mobile. The minimum withdrawal amount is £20. You can withdraw less but will need to contact customer services. The terms and conditions contain a number of other requirements relating to payments. So take some time and read these very carefully. If you fail to meet the requirements it will be impossible for you to withdraw funds or cash out in the future. And what would be the point of playing if you couldn’t withdraw your winnings.
If you need customer support you can get in touch between 9am and 11pm
Customer support at X Factor Games is only available between the hours of 9am and 11pm. For such a large brand we’d have expected a little more. If a service is provided 24 hours a day, it’s only fair for the customer service guys to work the same hours. But never mind, as this is not the only brand with limited customer support hours. When the service is operating you can get in touch by email, telephone or by using the live chat option. We used the latter option when we had a question. And although there was only one other person using the service we were asked to leave a message and wait for an agent to get back to us.
As the X Factor Games is a new site we’re prepared to let it get away with a few teething problems. There are a number of things about the whole experience we think could be improved. A little more information regarding the promotions is always going to be welcome. And extended customer service hours will be a great improvement. As it’s early days there’s still time for the experience to be honed and there are already a number of positive features. The welcome promotions are very generous and there’s a fantastic selection of games. Bingo lovers are going to want to see some bingo, but may find Slingo far more exciting.
