The player, who is only known as Susan, was playing at the Mecca club in Kingstanding, Birmingham, on February 2. She is a weekly visitor to the club and thought that it would just be a regular evening out. However, the mum of five was left shocked after winning the top prize in the National Bingo Game.
Initially, Susan thought she had won a £1,000 prize, not realising that she had not only won the local full house prize but also the National Bingo Game jackpot. The prize is won by achieving a full house within the first 16 calls.

Sue Edwards also offered her congratulations:
“We’re always thrilled for our winners but the £50,000 National Bingo Game jackpot is a real cause for celebration, especially when it’s a regular player! Susan was in complete shock when I told her. The atmosphere in the venue was electric and everyone was just so pleased for her.”
