Listen to this article:If you’re near Hunmanby in North Yorkshire and looking for something a little different to do, Wold Top Brewery is hosting a special Halloween Singo Bingo event this year.
One of the top bingo events is taking place on Friday 30 October at the brewery, which is located on the Mellor family farm at Hunmanby Grange, near Filey, and the fun starts at 7pm. There will be music bingo, a Halloween-themed quiz, food, drinks and loads of opportunities to sing along. Fancy dress is also encouraged, although it is not compulsory.
Singo Bingo works a little differently from the traditional game. Rather than listening out for numbers, you will hear popular songs and mark them off on your bingo card as they are played. Once the bingo is finished, there will also be a Halloween quiz to test your knowledge of all things spooky.
Sam Smith from Wold Top’s events team said: “Get ready for a brilliant evening of music, laughs, and a little bit of friendly competition as Singo Bingo returns to Wold Top for a Halloween special.”
There should be plenty of favourite tracks to get everyone singing along, and guests are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit by dressing up for the occasion.
Sam added: “Expect a fun-filled night with a great mix of music, which is bound to get everyone singing along! It promises to be a great night.”
For £16 per person, you can enjoy the Halloween Singo Bingo event, with tickets including either a pint or a soft drink on arrival. More refreshments will be available to buy throughout the evening.
There will also be food available, with Yorkshire Spuds serving jacket potatoes during the night. If you fancy making a proper evening of it and don’t want to worry about getting home afterwards, basic camping is available for £12 per pitch.
With music bingo, a Halloween quiz, food and a pint included with your ticket, there is loads to look forward to throughout the night, so if you still need a Halloween costume, now might be a good time to start looking.
