Slug & Lettuce has become a familiar sight on high streets right across the UK, drawing in customers with their delicious range of cocktails and food at affordable prices. Now, the chain is introducing a new attraction, Flamingo Bingo nights, which are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

The bingo experience events will be taking place at select Slug & Lettuce venues all around the UK on selected Fridays each month. It promises to deliver a night of dancing, partying, and the chance to win bingo prizes while players “fla-mingle with friends!”

While we’re on the topic of the bingo experience, make sure to check out the bingo promotions for March 2024 from the top online bingo brands.

Free Entry to a Retro Experience

Slug & Lettuce has opted to go retro for its bingo nights and will be using classic bingo ball machines. Accompanying the games will be DJs to get the players dancing and best of all, entry is completely free for all guests, so it is well worth booking in advance.

Those who do pre-book can take advantage of special packages. Guests can choose from:

The evenings will begin at 7:00 p.m., giving players time for a quick drink as they settle in. The bingo fun and games then start at 8 p.m. Each table will be given game cards, pens, and some inflatable flamingos to make things even more enjoyable. Impressively, players can use the venue’s app to order drinks without having to leave their seats to ensure that they don’t miss out on any of the bingo action.

A New Experience for Cocktail Fans

Becky Southern, the Head of Marketing for Slug & Lettuce at Stonegate Group, explained that they intend to provide people with a new experience while they enjoy their favourite cocktails. She said:

“We’re so excited to have started our journey launching Flamingo Bingo at Slug & Lettuce venues across the UK. Our goal is to provide guests with a unique blend of bingo and fun late-night entertainment and a chance to come together with friends to experience something different and exciting on your Friday nights out. With our interactive games and exclusive offers, Flamingo Bingo promises a fun packed night out for everyone, and we can’t wait for guests to come and make unforgettable memories with us.”

The evenings will be run by local hosts who will guide guests through three bingo games, which offer spontaneous prizes. The winner of the bingo games will be celebrated with a jackpot prize accompanied by confetti cannons. There will also be a special “Flamingo Parade” and if you are wondering what that might look like, just take a look at the preview video below.

Flamingo Bingo Across the UK

While the events are not taking place at every Slug & Lettuce venue, they are taking place right across the UK. Here is the full list of cities where you can join the action:

Food and Drink to Accompany Bingo

One major advantage the Flamingo Bingo nights have over online bingo is that you don’t need to prepare your own food and drink. Slug & Lettuce has an extensive menu with something for every taste as well as vegetarians and vegans. There are sharing menus, deals on starters and desserts, and plenty of main courses to choose from, ranging from Mac’ n’ Cheese to burgers and curries.

There are, of course, innumerable cocktails to choose from and many are available as part of a two-for-one offer, including Espresso Martini, Long Island Iced Tea, Mojito and Cosmopolitan. For the non-drinkers, there are Mocktails, which are alcohol-free, and there is also a large wine and beer menu as well as soft drinks.
