Buzz Bingo Plymouth is celebrating after Adam Vickery was named Buzz’s Presenter of the Year for 2026, winning £1,000, a luxury holiday and a celebration party at his home club. The 36-year-old has worked at Buzz Bingo Plymouth for 12 years and came out on top after progressing through regional heats and a national final against colleagues from many of the operator’s clubs.

He will now represent Buzz Bingo at the National Bingo Game Caller of the Year final in Leeds on Sunday 15 November, where he will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of the operator’s previous winner, Issy-Mae Hunt.

Adam Named Buzz Bingo’s Top Presenter

The Buzz Bingo Presenter of the Year competition gives callers from across the company’s clubs the opportunity to show off their skills and compete for the title of the operator’s best presenter.

Contestants had to progress through regional heats before reaching the final, where they competed against some of their most talented colleagues.

For Adam, winning the competition was a particularly special achievement after spending 12 years working at Buzz Bingo Plymouth. Speaking about his victory, he said:

“After 12 years at Buzz Bingo Plymouth, bringing this title home has got to be one of my proudest moments of my time at Buzz Bingo so far. The talent across our clubs is incredible, so winning the internal competition means so much to me, and it’s a privilege to represent Buzz Bingo at the National Final in Leeds. I’ve got two months to get ready, but I’m going to give it everything I’ve got to keep that national crown in Buzz Bingo hands. Watch this space!”

As well as the title, Adam received £1,000 in prize money and a luxury holiday. There will also be a celebration party at Buzz Plymouth, where his colleagues and regular customers will have the chance to celebrate his success.

National Final Awaits in Leeds

Adam’s next challenge will be the National Bingo Game Caller of the Year final at Buzz Bingo Leeds on Sunday 15 November. He will be competing against representatives from other major operators, independent clubs and holiday parks, all hoping to be named the best bingo caller in the country.

The competition is about much more than simply calling numbers correctly. Contestants will be judged on their clarity, stage presence, audience rapport and use of traditional bingo lingo. They will also need to perform in front of a live audience and a panel of industry judges, and the ability to entertain the crowd will be particularly important.

Hoping to Keep the National Title at Buzz Bingo

There is an added incentive for Adam, as Buzz Bingo currently holds the national title. Issy-Mae Hunt from Buzz Bingo Ipswich won the previous National Bingo Game Caller of the Year competition in 2024, and Adam will be hoping to repeat her success when he takes to the stage in Leeds.

Winning the national competition would be another major achievement for someone who has already spent more than a decade entertaining players in Plymouth. Buzz Bingo Plymouth will be sharing updates on his preparations through the club’s Facebook page, so local fans are able to follow his progress in the run-up to the event.

Having already won £1,000 and earned the title of Buzz Bingo Presenter of the Year, Adam has plenty to celebrate. However, he will certainly be hoping that he will have even more reason to celebrate after the national final takes place on 15 November.
