The DNA Nightclub, based in Eyre Square in Co Galway, is due to run a âTaylor Swift Bingo Party Raveâ. It is set to be a unique event celebrating the pop sensation and enhanced by the excitement of bingo and the energy of a rave.
The organisers have promised fans that they can enjoy special Shake It Off Bingo games with themed cards and exclusive Taylor Swift merchandise as prizes. At the same time, the DJs will be playing the singerâs biggest hits, ranging from Love Story to Blank Space with everything in between.
There will be surprise giveaways throughout the event and the nightclub will be creating a Special Neon Glow Zone brought to life with masses of neon lights and glow zones in order to create an atmosphere representing the colourful world of Taylor Swift.
Better yet, with attendees encouraged to come in costume, there will also be a special Swiftie Dance Off. Participants will compete with their best Taylor Swift dance moves and the crowd will then decide upon the winner.
The event is taking place on Friday March 8, which is the International Womenâs Day, and tickets are still on sale for just âŹ15. Doors will be opening at 8pm and the bingo games will begin at 9pm.
If you canât make the bingo, then you can join for the Taylor Swift afterparty. It promises to be a âSwiftfactularâ endless stream of Swiftâs hits spread across two floors that have been specially decorated and with hundreds of fellow fans in attendance.
It seems that there is a quite a demand for Taylor Swift themed nights in Ireland. In February, The Grand Social in Dublin ran a special âSwiftogeddon â The Taylor Swift Club Nightâ evening, which was âa night run by fans, for fans to come together and worship at the altar of Taylor Swiftâ. It featured non-stop Taylor Swift songs, including special mixes. Those who are interested will be pleased to learn that the event will be taking place again this month, on Saturday March 23.
Taylor Swift is arguably the most popular musician in the world at the moment, so it is no surprise that there are many more Swift themed events to be found, and many of them also contain an element of bingo.
For instance, FunnyBoyz, one of the UKâs leading organisers of drag shows, have a Taylor Swift themed night coming up in Liverpool on Friday April 26. Attendees can look forward to games of musical bingo with the best of Taylor Swiftâs music. It also promises plenty of crowd interaction such as Lip-syncs, comedy cabaret, loads of alcohol, and there is even a two-course menu available with some delicious looking options.
Those in other parts of the world can also Taylor Swift bingo events. For example, in Australia there is a Boozy Beats Bingo Taylor Swift event coming up. The bingo cards will be populated with Taylor Swift songs and if the song is played, then participants mark it off their card. It will also feature dance offs, lip synch battles, sing alongs, discount cocktails, and some fantastic prizes.
